To ensure durability, each slate serving board is sealed with bee's wax and has rubber protective feet on the bottom. Remember to hand wash and occasionally apply food-safe mineral oil or bee's wax to prevent staining. Please note that slate is a natural material, so slight color variations of the slate and the image may occur and may be lighter or darker than the product photos.
